My stunning holiday villa in Palau Saverdera, is situated in a quiet, detached, elevated corner position (not overlooked) on a private development, nestled in the hillside of the Cap de Creus National Park close to the bay of Roses. The historic town of Roses is just five minutes from the villa by car.

The area surrounding the Bay of Roses is a haven for many species of wildlife and fauna, another National Park the Emporda Marshes can be seen clearly from the villa and is only minutes away either by car or accessed from footpaths close to the villa. Numerous coves, beaches, and picturesque fishing harbour's such as Cadaqués, Llanca, and El Port de la Selva and many un-spoilt mountain villages are also easily reached from the villa.

My holiday villa in Northern Spain, enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mostly mild winters, with plenty of sunshine and blue skies.

Nestled in the peaceful foothills of the 'Cap de Creus' National Park 'Casa Albera 'enjoys far reaching views over National Park towards the Bay of Roses to the South and the Pyrenees to the West. A short scenic drive from the villa, through the national park is the tiny village of Cadaqués. If you are looking to rent a villa near Roses & Cadaqués Casa Albera is ideally situated.

Facing the Mediterranean Sea at the head of a crystal clear bay, Cadaqués (pictured above) was a favourite of both Picasso and Salvador Dali who were drawn to the area's incredible light and fresh air. Cadaqués remains a favourite spot for artists who enjoy the views and the clear air. It is right on the edge of the Cap de Creus Peninsula, where the Pyrenees mountains meet the sea, just south of the French border.
